Canada's universities and colleges provide high-quality university-level educational opportunities, and produce research of national and international importance. Canada's universities offer many choices, ranging from large to small institutions with instruction in English, French or both official languages. Students can choose to live in big cities, small towns or even study via the electronic highway.

Canada ranks second in the world after the United States, in the percentage of its citizens attending university. Canadian universities are striving to strengthen internationalization. Currently, more than 30,000 international students are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs within Canadian universities. A list of Canadian universities and their website addresses is included on this site.
