The University offers a range of scholarships for Indonesian students of high academic standing commencing their studies at the University of Sheffield in September 2006.

Postgraduate Scholarships eg MA, MSc
The University offers a range of scholarships for Indonesian students of high academic standing commencing a postgraduate Taught Masters programme at the University of Sheffield in September 2006.

Postgraduate International Scholarships 2006

One postgraduate Taught Masters scholarship worth £2,500 for one year of study.

To be eligible for the Postgraduate International Scholarships 2006, applicants must be Indonesian by birth or permanently domiciled in Indonesia, apply for a study place by 9 June 2006 and hold an offer of a study place for entry in September 2006. The Postgraduate International Scholarships 2006 are awarded on the basis of academic merit.

If you wish to be considered for this scholarship you need to apply. Eligible students will be sent a Postgraduate International Scholarships 2006 application form automatically.

Applicants cannot apply for the scholarship before being offered a study place at Sheffield.

Please note that you can only be awarded ONE University of Sheffield scholarship.


Postgraduate research degrees eg PhD, MPhil
New Route PhD

Tuition fee scholarships are available to students starting a New Route PhD programme in September 2006.

The scholarship is a 25% tuition fee reduction per year for 4 years of the degree programme.

Applicants will be informed automatically if they have been awarded a scholarship. Applicants cannot apply for the scholarship before being offered a study place at Sheffield.
