France: summer school for PhD candidates: 11-16 June 2006 DIAGONALES 2006 : « COMMUNICATING RESEARCH »

The French doctoral schools of the Universities of Limoges and
Clermont-Ferrand II invite PhD candidates to attend their international
summer school on communicating research.

DIAGONALES 2006 will take place from 11th to 16th of June 2006 in Limoges,
France.

The growing complexity of knowledge makes communication with the public
essential today for research. Among the subjects DIAGONALES will focus on
are:
- Building a collective intelligence,
- Dissemination of research and innovation to a large public,
- Communicating Research at a European level
This interdisciplinary Summer School is open to all PhD candidates. It
will bring together academics as well as social and economic actors.

DIAGONALES is a unique opportunity for PhD candidates to increase their
knowledge on a major topic and to build their own network.
